| Introduction |
Take to the high seas with Bang Boat. The boys take the concept of their popular Back Seat Bangers (review) to the waterways and marinas. They cruise around looking for cute girls, entice them to step aboard and then convince them to have sex in the back of the boat.
It is pretty corny, and unbearably noisy when they film with the boat underway.
If you'd been unfortunate enough to pay for a membership, you'd be doing cartwheels over the fact you had access to 29 other reality sites, all with the latest episodes shot in Hi Def quality.

| Evaluation | Clicking on the latest Bang Boat update takes us to a page of the 12 most recent updates, as well as previews of updates to come. Each episode is presented as a thumbnail of the female star and links to her video or picture galleries.
This site had (at the time of review) 82 episodes, with each consisting of around 20 to 30 minutes of video and 170 to 260 photos. Navigation through Bang Boat is very easy to follow. From the main model index you can surf through the episode archives, and once you have found a girl that takes your fancy, choose between Pictures or Videos.
Selecting pictures to look at first, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to navigate through all the photos from a single episode. You are able to open a larger picture then use navigation buttons to view the next and so on without going back to the thumbnail galleries. The pictures are good quality but not super sized and after looking through a few episodes as pictures, I gave the video a go.
The HD episodes started around April 2007, so I elected to download one to evaluate. Download speeds fluctuated between 190 and 210 KB/s. When I tried to stream the same video I was unable to get a quick enough download rate to give me seamless streaming. Prior to the HD episodes the video is only available to stream, although I found the 640x480 Windows Media at broadband quality streamed without hiccup.
I downloaded the full version of Scarlett Summers for this review.
Video starts with 2 cute girls, Scarlett and Erica chatting to the crew in the marina. Some confusing storyline plays out with the end result being Scarlett is on the boat by herself. The small talk continues for a while and eventually the action gets going. The noise from the boat is really annoying and the action is not very well filmed.
I did look at a few segments from other episodes and found them equally disappointing.

Offered as MWV and Quicktime formats, with no DRM.
Broadband users have the option to stream or download sections of the latest HD video updates, or the entire video.
You are able to choose from 5 quality levels with the latest HD episodes.
Earlier episodes offer lesser quality WMV files as 320x240 and 640x380 as well as Quicktime formats. You can then further choose from 3 different sized segments depending on your internet connection, but they are not downloadable.
The dialup user is also looked after with lower resolution streaming, but I fear it would be an exercise in frustration to watch one of these videos in streaming format.
Pictures were all of good quality with plenty of closeup shots. |

The bonus material on offer is also incredible.
Membership to this site gets you access to 29 other straight/lesbian reality sites, and as you scroll further down, you get to see the latest update for each of these sites.
In the left navigation panel, clicking on “Videos” under “Content Categories” gets you access to amazing amounts of streaming content, as you get thousands of pictures if you click on “Pictures”. There is access to an area called the “Reading Room” which contains a lot of comics and also some love advice reading material.
Cons
Some of the video in HD does not stream well. Even with 10mbit connection I have I was unable to stream HD without interruption. This is due to the site more than my connection.
Old video content is streaming only and not available for download.
Boat noise is annoying and the driver should take some coxswain courses so he can learn how to use a powerboat properly. His berthing was atrocious, as was his use of power and trim. The site was that good I managed to write a longer review on the seamanship skills of the crew than the video I wasted a download on watching. |
